古文書に記録を残す歴史ある弓削島。
その上弓削という小さな集落に私たちの場所はあります。

Yuge Island is a place with a long history recorded in old documents.Our place is located in the small settlement of Kamiyuge.

散歩 ｜ A Walk
縫う／武田店が佇む上弓削の歴史は古く、風情のある小径も残っています。10分ほど歩いていくと高浜という美しい景色の砂浜があり、ここに佇むとすっとストレスが消えていくのを感じます。

Kamiyuge, where we are located, still has quiet, historic paths. A ten-minute walk brings you to Takahama Beach, where stress gently melts away.

人々 ｜ People
島の皆さんは大らかで優しく、これが島の大切な価値だなあと思っています。仲良くなるとときどきお野菜やみかんを分けてくださることも。

The people of the island are warm and generous—one of its greatest treasures. Once you get to know them, they may even share fresh vegetables or local mandarins with you.

柑橘 ｜ Citrus
弓削島をはじめ、上島町の島々はどこも柑橘栽培が盛んです。温州みかんだけでなく、せとか、はるか、紅まどんな、甘平など、たくさんの種類があります。

Yuge Island and the surrounding islands of Kamijima are known for citrus farming. Along with satsuma mandarins, many varieties are grown, including Setoka, Haruka, Beni-madonna, and Kanpei.

島の四季 ｜ Seasons
桜や新緑のあとに続いて柑橘の香りに満ちる春、海遊びに適した夏、祭りで賑わう秋、そして静かで澄んだ海や空の色が素晴らしい冬。私たち島に暮らす人々が感じる瀬戸内の四季を追体験してください。

Experience the seasons as islanders do: citrus-scented spring, carefree summer days by the sea, autumn festivals, and winter, when the waters of the Seto Inland Sea shine with their clearest shades of blue.

アクティビティ ｜ Activities
島には一つも信号がなく、クルマの交通量も少ないので、ランニングやサイクリングがお勧めです。美しい景色を視界いっぱいに感じながら走れます。ほか、船釣り、SUP、シーカヤック、農業体験など、さまざまなアクティビティをご紹介できます。

With no traffic lights and very little car traffic, the island is ideal for running and cycling with open views of the scenery. We can also help arrange boat fishing, SUP, sea kayaking, and farm experiences.
